TOP 10 CARS THAT COULD USE A CORVETTE V-8

TOP 10 CARS THAT COULD USE A CORVETTE V-8What Couldn't Use a Small-Block Chevy?
General Motors makes a damn good V-8. The company's small block pushrod V-8s are among the most loved by enthusiasts not only because of the power and reliability they offer, but also because its compact size allows it to squeeze into all but the smallest of engine bays - even engine bays designed to accommodate a four-pot and some electric motors. To celebrate the mighty LS series V-8 as it makes way for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette's new LT1 V-8, we've compiled a list of the top ten vehicles prime for an LS-swap, and which LS engine we think would be best in that particular vehicle.
It may not have been our Best Driver's Car but we had tons of fun tossing the BMW 1 Series M Coupe around the track. Unfortunately, the 1M was a one-and-done car. That's why a big-bruiser of an engine like the Corvette Z06's 7.0-liter LS7 would be a perfect for the 1 Series while we wait for the high-performance variant of the upcoming 2 Series.
Ford Expedition: Ford has some great V-8s, but the Expedition's 5.4-liter mill isn't one of them. Since Ford can't be bothered to fit the Expedition with a new engine (not yet, anyway), we figured the Expedition would make good use of one of GM's many LS-series truck engines.
Honda CR-Z - As we wait for Honda to produce a performance-oriented CR-Z, why not swap in a 430-hp 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 to make up for lost time? And hell, you could even mid-mount the V-8 for extra awesomeness.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe: If the Hyundai Genesis Coupe needs anything to be taken more seriously, it's a bigger engine. In this case, the supercharged 638-hp LS9 could replace the Gen Coupe's 3.8-liter V-6. While Hyundai is reportedly considering a V-8 for the Genesis Coupe, the LS9's brutal horsepower may outmatch a Hyundai-sourced engine
